Anyone who is 18 years of age or older, a resident of Alabama, a citizen of the United States and has not been convicted of a felony offense or been declared mentally incompetent by a court may register to vote. You may register at any time, however the cut-off for registering to vote before an election is ten (10) days prior. If you register nine days or less to an election, you will not be able to vote in that particular election, but you will be able to vote in any following elections.
