A win for the Helping Montgomery Families Initiative 

 

 

AUM Center for Government Innovative Government Award

 

 

  On February 24, 2011, District Attorney Ellen Brooks and Sandra Edwards, Executive Director for Helping Montgomery Families Initiative was awarded the AUM Center for Government Innovative Award for one of the most innovative programs created at the local/county level.  HMFI was recognized for it's accomplishments and success with its efforts to assist Montgomery County Public Schools suspended students and their families.
