Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Mission Statement:  To enhance the quality of life for Montgomery County citizens through mutually beneficial partnerships and the development of safe, enjoyable attractive parks and diverse programs.  



The Recreation Department operates County parks and recreation facilities, and provides recreational programs for children during the summer months. The department is under the direction of a five-member board and the superintendent is employed by the Montgomery County Commission. The Recreation Department includes all of Montgomery County, except the City of Montgomery.
