Welcome to the website for the Montgomery Election Center.  I hope that you will find the information on this site to be useful and user-friendly.  The Montgomery Election Center is designed as a clearinghouse for all Federal, State, and Local elections held in Montgomery County.  It appears that 2012 will be another busy election year, and there are several changes that voters should be aware of. 

First, the dates of the election cycle will be somewhat different than we have seen in the past.  The Presidential Preference Primary and State/Local Primaries will be held together on March 13, 2012.  If needed a Primary Run-Off Election will be held on April 24, 2012.  The General Election will be held on November 6, 2012. 

Second, many of the political districts have been changed as a result of redistricting - please review the maps on this website to familiarize yourself with any changes that may impact your district assignments.  Finally, many of our voting precincts and polling places have also changed as a result of redistricting - please review the information on the "Polling Places" page of this website to familiarize yourself with the changes.  As always, please feel free to contact the Election Center if you need additional information.
